We are offering immediate hiring opportunities for:

  • Appointment Coordinator –> $17.25/hour (full-time).
  • Adult Day Support Supervisor –> $18.00/hour (full-time).
  • DSPs – Direct Support Professionals –> $16.25/hour (full & part-time).

APPOINTMENT COORDINATOR

Position OverviewThe Appointment Coordinator ensures that:

  • Medical issues, including mental health concerns, are brought to the attention of appropriate medical professionals.
  • Appropriate healthcare is accessed in a timely manner.
  • Required follow-up is completed in a timely manner.
  • Relevant information is shared with team members to ensure continuity of medical care at home and, if applicable, at work.

When no Appointment related needs are present in the region, the Appointment Coordinator will function as a Direct Support Professional in available supported living shifts. The Direct Support Professional is responsible for providing supervision, training and assistance to consumers as prescribed within the Individual Service Plan (ISP) to increase independence and quality of life.

Position Requirements

1. Two years experience working with persons with developmental disabilities or a two-year degree in a related field.

2. Current CPR/First Aid certification

3. Ability to operate both independently and in a team environment.

4. Ability to maintain professional demeanor when interacting with medical professionals and other involved parties.

5. Strong written and verbal communication, time management and organizational skills.

6. Ability to understand basic medical information.

7. Ability to apply mature, responsible decision-making.

8. Valid driver’s license with less than 6 points and sufficient liability insurance that meets state minimum standards.

DSP / SUPPORT ASSOCIATE

Position Overview:  The Support Associate (Direct Support Professional – DSP) is responsible for providing supervision, support and assistance to individuals as prescribed within the Individual Service Plan (ISP) to increase independence and quality of life.

DSPs are responsible for providing supervision, support and assistance to consumers (individuals) as prescribed within the Individual Service Plan/Individual Program Plan to increase independence and quality of life.

We are in need of experienced, compassionate, and dedicated Direct Support Professionals for our Northwest region (Toledo area).

Position RequirementsPrevious experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred, but not required. A High School diploma or GED is preferred. Current valid driver’s license and automobile insurance meeting Ohio’s minimum standards. Ability to maintain CPR and First Aid certification.

ADULT DAY SUPPORT SUPERVISOR

Position OverviewThe Adult Day Support (ADS) Supervisor is responsible for the daily operation of all day service programming. Supports the growth of existing business and promotes and develops new business opportunities.

The ADS Supervisor develops day services program content and designs implementation strategies through the establishment of a daily activity schedule, planned community outings, events, etc.

Provides management and supervision of staff assigned to adult day services. Monitors the key supporting elements of service delivery, such as scheduling, vehicle maintenance, facility repairs, etc. to ensure that operations are managed and executed in an efficient and effective manner.

This is a full-time position that requires flexibility in order to effectively manage assigned site/sites. We work exclusively for adults with I/DD living community based housings.

The preferred candidate should be flexible, organized, and a self-starter with good Leadership qualities. Current CPR/FA, Medication Administration is a plus, however we will offer training to the selected candidates.

Position RequirementsThe ADS Supervisor position requires previous experience of at least one year in adult day supports field.
