RMS of Ohio: Southwest Region (Cincinnati Area)

Current Openings:

PROGRAM MANAGER

Position Overview:  The Program Manager’s primary responsibilities include assistance in managing supported living services, specifically the delivery of services and ensuring that the environments in which those services are delivered meet health and safety standards. Provides management and supervision of Lead Support Associates and Support Associates.  

Monitors the key supporting elements of service delivery, such as scheduling, staff training and support, and service location monitoring. Provides good stewardship by managing resources effectively, such as limiting the use of overtime, manages staff absences effectively, etc.  

Maintains quality staff through site monitoring, including site visits, staff training, and staff performance evaluations.  

Conducts routine meetings with Lead Support Associates to understand and address any issues occurring on the caseload. Provides after hour on call support for staffing or client emergencies.

Position Requirements:  Associates or Bachelor’s degree in a human service field and two (2) years of management/supervisory experience in the provision of services to individuals with developmental disabilities or related social service field, OR five (5) years of management/supervisory experience in the provision of services to individuals with developmental disabilities or related field.

Share company value and philosophy in regards to supporting individuals with disabilities.  Positive leader with ability to select, hire, train, manage, and retain staff. Experience with managing and maintaining positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Understanding of rules and guidelines that regulate the provision of services to individuals with disabilities.  Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, such as Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook. Current valid driver’s license and compliance with Ohio liability insurance coverage standards.

LEAD SUPPORT ASSOCIATE

Position Overview:  The Lead Support Associate (Direct Support Professional – DSP) is responsible for delivering and supporting the delivery of high-quality services that are documented in accordance with company policy. 

This position provides mentoring support for Support Associates, serving as a training and information resource.  The Lead Support Associate also assumes responsibility for monitoring service documentation and ensuring the assigned service location is maintained according to client and company standards.

Position Requirements:  One (1) year experience providing supports to individuals with developmental disabilities.  High school diploma or GED Current valid driver’s license with a good driving record and automobile insurance meeting Ohio’s minimum standards. Ability to maintain CPR, First Aid, and medication administration certification. Strong communication and organizational skills a must.

SUPPORT ASSOCIATE (Direct Support Professional – DSP)

Position Overview:  The Support Associate is responsible for providing supervision, support and assistance to consumers (individuals) as prescribed within the Individual Service Plan/Individual Program Plan to increase independence and quality of life.

Position RequirementsPrevious experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred, but not required. A High School diploma or GED is preferred. Current valid driver’s license and automobile insurance meeting Ohio’s minimum standards. Ability to maintain CPR and First Aid certification.
