A Look Back: RMS in the Ohio Community:

The year 2025 has already been an exciting time for RMS. From job fairs, county board demonstrations to technology conferences, we’ve been honored to share our mission and services with communities across Ohio.

To date, here are a few of this year’s highlights:

  • Empowering Independence Through Innovation: RMS at the Montgomery County Tech Fair
The tech fair focused on new and established technologies in care services field. RMS demonstrated how remote support services and technology can be tailored to meet each person’s individual needs and goals. RMS also highlighted how our remote support services fully align with Ohio’s Tech First initiatives. As a company, we believe in meeting people where they are with their skills and abilities.
  • RMS at the 2025 Milestones Conference: Empowering Independence Through Technology
Held at John Carroll University, this conference focused on supporting more independent lives for people with developmental disabilities. RMS proudly exhibited our remote support solutions and connected with hundreds of families and professionals. This year’s conference focused on independent living and technology-forward solutions. These solutions match our company’s mission to provide supportive services that honor both capability and choice. Visitors to our booth had the opportunity to explore how RMS remote support services complements existing care models, and create more flexibility for families as well as other provider agencies.
  • Hiring Event in Cincinnati
We met incredible talent during our hiring event for RMS Inc which is located in Cincinnati. The hiring event was a success. As we grow, we are excited to welcome new team members who share our mission of enhancing lives through supportive technology. Our RMS Inc locations provide intermediate care facilities for the developmentally disabled (ICF /DD). These group homes are located in the Cincinnati region.
  • Remote Support Demonstration for Ohio County Board’s of Developmental Disabilities
RMS staff members provided a real-time demonstration of our remote support technology to members and SSAs at Belmont County Board of Developmental Disabilities (St. Clairsville, OH) and Erie County Board of Developmental Disabilities (Sandusky, OH). Our team answered questions and showed how remote support services are integrated into person-centered individual service plans. As a provider agency, RMS continues to align our approach with Ohio’s best practices for individualized service planning, including how remote support services are integrated into the Ohio ISP.

Looking Ahead:

As RMS continues to grow and evolve, we remain committed to bringing thoughtful, innovative support solutions to people with developmental disabilities throughout Ohio. Whether we are connecting with families at a local fair, speaking with county board members or presenting at a statewide conference, our focus stays the same: supporting individuals with developmental disabilities and promoting independence.
